One of the questions I ask leadership teams is surprisingly simple.
“How well do you really know your people?”
Not their job title or their position description. Or even how long they’ve worked in the organisation.
I mean…
- Do you know what energises them?
- What work stretches them?
- What they’re naturally good at?
- Where they want to grow?
Because if we don’t know those things, developing capability becomes guesswork.
One of the principles that sits at the heart of Leading Through Others is that leadership is deeply personal.
Every person on your team brings different experiences, motivations, strengths and aspirations.
Leading everyone exactly the same often feels fair, but it rarely helps people perform at their best.
That’s why my workshops, leadership programmes and executive coaching focus on practical leadership conversations.
Helping leaders recognise strengths.
Create meaningful development opportunities.
Delegate intentionally.
Build confidence through coaching.
And create environments where people can genuinely thrive.
I wrote Leading Through Others to support leaders who want to build capability that lasts long after a workshop finishes. That’s the difference between delivering training and creating leadership transformation.
If your organisation is looking to strengthen leadership capability through practical, evidence-informed development, I’d love to work with you.
Whether it’s a keynote, leadership programme, executive coaching or advisory support, my goal is always the same: Helping leaders build stronger people – not simply stronger processes.
When people grow, organisations grow too.
